DAY 7- UNEVEN SKIN TONE :(

Does your face have many different shades?
Is this affecting your social life?
Did you answer yes to all of the previous questions...well stay tuned because we have all the remedies for you lol.

Hi guys hope I didn't offend anyone... I am just feeling really random today :)
Today as you can see I will be focusing specifically on uneven skin tone and all that comes with it.
Uneven skin tone is caused by simple factors around such as exposure to sunlight, allergic reactions or aging, so if you are at home freaking out stop! There is nothing wrong your skin and don't be like my mom...if she sees anything wrong, she will always think it is something serious like cancer or something...only my mom lol.
Even though it may not be serious in some cases if you feel like you should see the doctor and check it out because it is better for you to be safe than sorry.

Sooo as usual I am going to give some tips on how to fix that uneven skin tone before it gets to swimsuit season.

1.Exfoliate regularly- the dead skin cells present on your skin may be the cause of this discoloration and also ladies you can check back to our previous  post to see a simple exfoliating recipe to try at home.

2.Quite makeup at least for one week and see if any changes occur as your makeup may be the cause of your discoloration. I know this may be hard for many but you have to try and make a sacrifice to see if you have been having an allergic reaction to your makeup.

3. Avoid putting dirty hands in you face as this may influence skin problems.

4.Improve your nutrition... so no oily and sugary foods and eat more vegetables, fruits and lots of waters as this may help to flush your body's system and improve your skin tone.

5.Apply sunscreen before heading out into the sun as the sun may be a major cause of skin discoloration.

Remember everyone if this persists please contact your dermatologist. Hope you enjoy

DAY 6- ACNE

Trust me if you look back at your teenage years acne was just one of those things that almost everybody had...unless you were one of those extremely lucky ones, which most weren't and for those persons who really got it bad acne followed them into adulthood. No matter what people call them them pimples, black heads or as they would call some people in Jamaica, grater face, it all comes under the same thing...acne.

I mean I have seen a friend cry day and night because she doesn't like her skin and she just feel like everyone is watching that pimple in the center of your forehead (PS people were looking at her acne though) and it made her not want to interact with people. She just shut a lot of people out.

It started that stay at home trend and of course this didn't help her self esteem at all. I don't believe you should let one change ruin your entire life...it wont last forever.

One thing I preach and I can't stop saying is that no matter what you look or feel like always try to be confident within yourself and don't let what people say or do bring you down. In the end it's your life not theirs.

So to help all of those people with acne out there I am going to try to do simple tips to help you get your acne under control.

1. Avoid food that you realize may trigger your acne. If you realize that when you eat looks of oily food or chocolate it cause break outs avoid them or just eat them in moderation.

2. Eat more garlic- I know right what am I saying, this may give you garlic breath but it will all pay off when you have clear glowing skin just brush your teeth more often per day. Garlic can be used for so many things it amazing, it is like my all time favorite super herb lol.

3. Aloe Vera- this not only helps to reduce the redness and swelling that comes with acne but on a day to day basis it helps to give smooth clear skin. If you are like me who has an aloe plant in easy access just use the gel from the plant and apply to your skin but, if you are not so lucky you may have to invest in aloe capsules or juices.

4. Toothpaste- I have seen people use this for years to get rid of those little pimples on their skin but warning this may act as a skin lightener as well for persons of darker skinned tones.

5. Drink lots of water- This helps to flush your body's system and it may also aid in weight loss.

I hope this helps someone...PS all of these may not work for everyone

DAY 5- CELLULITE TREATMENTS

It is that thing that almost all women have...you got it right Cellulite and trust me it is never a pleasant sight on anyone. It can be quite unsightly when your walking on the beach, in shorts or in your favorite bodycon dress, so because summer is fast approaching here are some tips to deal with your cellulite.

1. Eat healthy diet and exercise! - This cannot be stressed enough as cellulite is cause by fat so you will need to work this off.

2. Rubbing castor oil around the affected areas.

3. 2tsps. apple cider vinegar- I have seen my mom use it herself and she has lost weight but it is a tedious process so if you want to see quick results this may not work for you.

4. Giving yourself a five to ten minutes honey massage.

5. Invest in a cellulite cream.

PS These will not work for everyone each person has a different body which reacts differently but a good diet and exercise is a good cure for everything <3

DAY 4- WEEK OF BEAUTY

COLD SORES

This also know as herpes liabialis and is the infection of the lips by the herpes simplex virus. An outbreak would usually cause blisters on and around the mouth which may be seen as super embarrassing when you are the one experiencing this. I don't know about you but I would not be the girl kissing the guy with the cold sores.

So on that note, here are some simply home remedies to deal with your cold sores .

1. Use lots and lost of petroleum jelly to keep the area moist.

2. Rub garlic on the affected areas or include more garlic in your diet - I know this may seem a little weird but, garlic is like a super herb which really builds your immune system and it helps your body to fight the break out faster.

3. Continue cleaning the wound with alcohol or hydrogen peroxide.

4. Improve you diet as to ensure that your immune system is always at it best.

5. Ice- If ice is applied as the cold sore arrives it may decrease the time it hangs around

6. Milk- Before to start pouring 20 glasses of milk hold up. This milk will not be used for drinking but you will apply cotton soaked in milk to the affected area.

7. Change your toothbrush as it hold on to the bacteria which is causing your cold sore.

PS try not to share lipsticks as it may spread the virus to others. I hope I helped someone.

DAY 3- WEEK OF BEAUTY

Psoriasis

This can be considered as  is a long-term chronic skin problem that causes skin cells to grow too quickly, resulting in thick, white, silvery, or red patches of skin.

I have not suffered from psoriasis myself but, I have a first hand understanding of what people with psoriasis go through. Some those who are affected are even afraid to interact with others out of fear of being judged when they have a flair up. With this said I am here to help psoriasis sufferers in any way I can by providing simple home made remedies to help to keep your psoriasis under control.

1.Ointment based moisturizers will prevent skin from drying out, itching and reddening, as well as aid damaged skin to heal more quickly.

2. Find out what triggers you psoriasis if possible and avoid this

3.Eat a healthier diet filled with garlic. Garlic has many health benefits and may also help to improve the immune system which may lead to less psoriasis breakouts.

4.Take daily baths.

5.Cover affected areas overnight after moisturizing and cover with plastic wrap. In the morning remove the plastic wrap and wash away scalps.

6.Expose you skin to only small amounts of sunlight as too much can triggers or worsen breakouts.

7.Avoid drinking alcohol as this may decrease the effectiveness of psoriasis treatments.

I hope this can help someone,

WEEK OF BEAUTY

This week will be dubbed the week of beauty focusing specifically on skincare.
Like every other woman I have had a personal struggle to have beautiful skin, trying many different remedies just to get it right, so I would love to impart to you all the tricks of the trade I have learnt.

Day 1

Today we will be focusing on eczema.
Eczema is considered as the medical name given to inflamed or irritated skin this usually being caused as a result of an allergic reaction to a particular type of food.
I have personally struggled eczema for years and it just eventually began to seem like a losing battle. It eventually got to the point where, I was afraid any citrus fruit or dairy products. It was something that my family and I have suffered from for years.
When I was introduced to African Shea butter this all changed, I had now gained smooth and clearer skin.
Now I hardly even realise my eczema, I hope it works for you as well as it worked for me.
