New Beginnings

I'm a bit nervous to start blogging again...more like extremely nervous. It has been so long since my last blog post.
I just think I had lost passion for blogging and I needed to find myself before I could start again.


Looking at myself now so much has changed about me. If I can say so myself I am  full on woman!
Maturity and life has surely set it. I spend my days working and my nights I use to pursue a law
degree in Jamaica...talk about being busy.

For all who are just visiting my blog I would like to introduce myself to you.

I am a blogger born and bred in Jamaica. I am passionate about my family, my life and love. I believe that one should always try to achieve their goals and never stop until you get that.
I love the idea of being in love even though I think I have never been there. I love all things beauty and as such my blog will encompass all of this.

I do have a lot on my plate but I feel the need to take on my passion for blogging once more.

I'm sure that this can one day help someone or at least provide some entertainment for the time to go by.

Hey I may not be the best writer out there but, I am giving you the best that I have. The content may not be the same as in previous years but it shows the growth in me. I will try to have at least one post every week on set topics.

5 Guys that are the biggest waste of your time -Advice

I am back with another blog post on life.
I am here with 5 guys or just persons in general who are your biggest waste of time.
'
In life we have either dated one of these men or heard of them. After the relationship ends or even during the relationship your days are spent counselling. His ex is so distraught about his actions.
Today, I am going to help you spot the men you should avoid. Hopefully, this will help with your present or future love life. One thing we should all remember is to never put anyone above yourself. Unless you are religious, then it would be God or any other supreme being. Do what you know is best for you and always seek needed help.

5 Guys to avoid:

1. The womanizer- This is the guy that seems "oh so cool" and always claims he is never in a relationship. He always acts like he is too cool to show much emotion in public. Yet in private you are his "world" and only you two know there is a relationship because he does not want anyone is his "business."
The list could go on of the warning signs. In some recent times it has even become harder to find who they are. Some men do not display any signs.
Always remember to trust you instinct. If you are not comfortable leave.


2. Man afraid of commitment- Well...either he is never in a relationship and it always ends as a result of the actions of everyone else, never him. Or maybe he is one of those men dating women for years with no sign of a marriage or engagement in site. I even saw a case where a women dated a man for ten years before he worked oven commitment issues and finally proposed.
If you really love him do what you think if best.
I am telling you what I would do. Between 1-4 years you are suppose to figure out whether you want me to be your wife or not. Before you approached me you should have solved all of your problems.
To think about it this way, it is emotionally draining to try and think you can fix someone. Each man has to make a decision for himself or you will just be causing yourself unnecessary hurt.


3. The cheap guy- He is always complaining about money. His bills always seem to be the highest and he is always low on cash. There is always another reason for him to never buy you anything not even a birthday present.
I know some independent women want to buy their own things. I totally agree with that. But, I am from a family where the man should provide. There is no way I should be dating you and if I am ever in need I can never call you. I think that is a waste. It shows you what your marriage would be like. Have you ever heard of some wives complaining that their men don't provide. That is because many times he never had to do anything during the dating stage. Trust me the dating stage is when a man tries to impress you the most.
Also, do not think it is because of his income why he does not do certain things. I remember I met this guy once who was far from wealthy. He still made sure I never wanted for anything. I was not showered with designer gifts but, he still did the gentleman like thing.


4. The abusive man- Stay away from him. He is like poison. He wants you to spend your days with him and him alone. You should not have any friends and in some cases not even talk to family. At first you thought, the possessiveness was not too bad until he said some creepy line like he would kill himself if you left. This is a man to run from once you spot the signs. He will not change. He will only get worse.


5. Men who put you last- We have all heard of those stories everything else is before you whether in a relationship or marriage. He either spends most of his life with his business, his mother or his friends. Frankly you are tired of it and he does not seem to care. All I can say is tell him how you feel or leave. Some men will never change or you may not be as important to him as you think.
One other important thing to note is to ensure you are not being just too needy. If he is a businessman you cannot expect him to be calling you every five minutes.

Cyberbullying- Advice and Rant

Welcome back!

I was not really planning to talk about this anytime soon. But, I just had to. It is becoming such a major problem now.
So, I am just strolling on instagram(follow me @mzpanton) looking at pictures and I am shocked at the amount of  hate and negative energy out there. As I look at a picture of some random pretty girl on the popular page, I can just check for the mean comments under her pictures. The worse part about this to me is the fact that half of the people saying hateful stuff do not even know the person personally. Why would you just write random profanity under a person's picture you don't know?

For me, the only reason I can find that people would do this is simply because they want to have that person's life. They are jealous.
Just imagine these people are commenting that a person should go kill themselves!
How does that even sound justifiable in your head. To make matters worst some people call this freedom of speech. No, this is straight cyberbullying. Many of these people would not have to courage to say the same thing to a person's actual face.

This entire cyberbullying thing just annoys the heck out of me. Thank God, I have never experienced it. I do not promise that I would be as calm.

If you are one of those people taking part in this trend please stop.

GET THAT MONEY!

I have been hearing all over so many beautiful girls saying that if school fails just marry well. Lets just think about it, haven't we all made a couple jokes or too about it...I know I have.

Now everyone out there is looking for a sugar daddy.
I am not here to bash all of those girls out there who like having their sugar daddies because that is just what they like.
But before you engage in these relationships here are somethings you should know.

1. Whoever you are dating ensure you actually like them for them and not their money because trust me rich men can spot a gold digger from 5 miles away. Apart from what people think they are not stupid and they will sleep with you but hardly ever marry you.
2. Don't go around trying to use people because karma is a heck of a thing. I am sure if what you did came back to you wouldn't like it.
3. Ensure that you can actually support yourself if this man leaves you.I have seen too many people out there that after the man leaves them they fall flat on their faces. First they were wearing Prada now they can barely afford Old Navy.

And for all of those people killing relationships out there, age is not a big deal I totally believe love has no specific age barrier or limit, so if you want him go get him. Do not listen to all the negativity if you feel it is right go get him!

PETA LEAVE KATY PERRY ALONE!

I still can't believe this crap that I am hearing! Why is PETA critcizing Katy Perry for the use of animals in her new music video 'roar.' PETA claims that these "Animals used for entertainment... endure horrific cruelty and suffer from extreme confinement and violent training methods. They often also become stressed and anxious when hauled around and forced into unfamiliar or frightening situations." 
This is such a serious accusation that before I begin to cast  such serious judgement I need to get actual proof.
I mean watching this video over and over again I don't see any abuse of animals. I see nothing wrong here. Is it that they know something that I don't or is it that PETA has nothing better to do with their time like helping the less fortunate. 
Do they just like to hunt down celebrities without a valid reason?
The most I could see that was wrong with this video was that it was a little corny *laugh*
People are getting too over the top with these claims just stop and find something else to do with your time. They just need to STOP!

FASHIONABLE BLACK WOMEN!

I am so tired of hearing the stereotype that black women cannot be classy or they cannot dress their body properly so, today I am going to show you some great outfits worn by black women.

SUGAR DADDIES!

This is going to be so short !
Let me start by explaining what a sugar daddy is:- a sugar daddy is seen a rich older man who lavishes gifts on a young woman in return for her company or sexual favours. One thing I really realize is that when people see these relationships they automatically begin judging. I have seen and actually known  people who have been in relationships with older rich men and the first thing people say is that "she is only with him for his money," which is not true. People start judging completely and I think that is so mean. I am certainly not with a older man but, it definitely gets on my last nerve when people start judging others as if they are saints. I believe in doing what you want to do, just as long as if it is best for you. People only get upset when they see someone else's relationship because they wanted to be with that guy.
Many are with sugar daddies because they are not economically stable so, they go out looking for this man as their meal ticket. The poor man is sometimes in love and they are just using him. So he is in this love bubble while, she is sucking him dry lol but, on the other side of the spectrum they get married for love. Personally, I have seen some of those relationships blossom into long term marriages and even last way longer than others.
So I am telling you all stop judging if it is not your business LEAVE IT ALONE!

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

'Out of Many, One People'

I am a born and raised Jamaican and I know for any Jamaican out there, there is a great sense of pride when it comes to your country. We have the best food, we have had so many Miss World contenders and on top of that our culture is unmatched by any other. Jamaicans can have fun in any weather, no matter how much money they have, they will always find a way to have a party. I mean you see that when you look at the fasted man in the world, Usain Bolt. The party could be in the middle of the street, in someone's house, on a farm it does not really matter to us just as long as the party has 'vibes.'

Here you see white, blacks, indians and every other ethnicity that you can think of all being friends. 

Jamaica may have its good and its bad but, it would forever be my island.

                                         

WEDDING BELLS!

Don't start freaking out I am not getting married. I have just been watching a lot of wedding videos lately and it has got me thinking of what I want my wedding/engagement ring to look like. Lord knows I love jewelry and even more diamonds so, I just imagine that ring.
I mean girls diamonds are forever so you know we have to love them...maybe even more than the man. lol (that was a joke)
So...out of randomness here are all the wedding rings I think are so lovable.
PS guys I have been so obsessed with Hindu wedding lately. <3

SEX IN CHRISTIAN MARRIAGES AND RELATIONSHIPS

Sometimes, I personally think when a lot of Christians talk about sex they go over board with all these do'sand don'ts. Don't get me wrong now I do believe that people should wait until marriage for sex. I think that at that time you are better capable to deal with the situations that will arise as a result. But, lets be realistic here few people wait until marriage. Even some Christians themselves give up their virginity before marriage and to me that is not my business. I am totally upset and it gets on my last nerve when I see people and especially Christians judging others. So what if she had sex early! Why is it your business that she had a child out of wedlock...sometimes it just gets catty and childish like really grow up. Some of them behave as if even talking about sex is dirty.

I have over heard discussions where I hear people saying that you should only have sex one way and oral sex is a forever a no no. You should never experiment with positions or anything like that. Really!
What society are we living in!
Whether you are a Christian or not if you are pleasing your husband physically and emotionally do you think he is going to be faithful?
Change it is up keep your husband excited, ensure that you look attractive to him...get your hair done and keep that body looking top of the line.

You should always try to compliment him as well, just as how you like hearing you look great he likes it as well. This is not only in a marriage but, even in relationships. Do not be afraid to express yourself sexually and emotionally tell him what you like. Tell him to touch that spot that you like seriously he will like it.

Ladies enjoy your time with your boyfirend/ husband don't let any moment go to waste.

HONEY WHERE ARE YOUR CLOTHES!

I mean guys I have never been one to say really bad stuff about someone else's fashion sense, but I think it is time for me to talk out. I am standing up for my rights lol.
Why are people not wearing clothes anymore!!! Even when you walk on the street you almost always have to see someone with their butt hanging out or they are in clothes that look 2 sizes too small. I really wonder if they know it does not look good, I don't care whether it is in style or not...IT IS NOT CUTE.

Like no matter how cold it is outside there is always that person in the skimpiest outfit and it led me to wonder do they have some internal heating system that I don't know about lol. I mean when everyone else is cold they are acting like it is in the middle of summer.

I mean I think a lot of women or younger girls need to learn that you can be sexy without literally walking around naked. The guy you like does not need to see everything when you are walking by. But if that is your style by all means don't change if you are comfortable but, please for my sake if you ever see me down the street just pull down those shorts.
And on my last note I hope any of you guys aren't dressing like that because some guy said he likes to see you like that. It does not make any sense to do that, if he loves you he will accept you the way you are. I mean my boyfriend has seen me when I look good, bad and ugly and he still loves it.

LADIES STOP WALKING AROUND NAKED...that is all for today.

Hair Journey

Ok guys so I have finally decided to start my hair journey. I have seen so many people begin their hair journey and I have seen such great results so, I thought maybe it was my turn to try.
I have been known to not take care of my hair or like I am dedicated for one month and I just lose interest which I know is really bad. But I thought lets have a final try at this journey and actually stay dedicated.
If you guys have any ideas on how to grow and take care of you hair please just leave me a comment and tell me how you do it.

Happy Easter Everyone!!!

Hi everyone today I just want to share a short little thought about easter. I know every country has their own easter traditions...in Jamaica we eat loads of bun and cheese and in other countries people focus on the easter bunny....I can never get how these traditions even tie in to easter.

I don't have a problem with these traditions but, what I don't like is when some of these traditions over shadow the true meaning of easter which was God dying for our sins so that we can gain eternal. I have always grown up in a Christian home so that is what I have always been taught and I don't like to see when people have somewhat lead astray from the true meaning of this day. I have also realized that society has its moral and values which I am completely against but that is another day.
This is just something to think about and if your one of those people today feeling down and depressed just know that Jesus is the only way.

PS this is my personal view on the topic and everyone may not agree :)
