New Beginnings

I'm a bit nervous to start blogging again...more like extremely nervous. It has been so long since my last blog post.
I just think I had lost passion for blogging and I needed to find myself before I could start again.


Looking at myself now so much has changed about me. If I can say so myself I am  full on woman!
Maturity and life has surely set it. I spend my days working and my nights I use to pursue a law
degree in Jamaica...talk about being busy.

For all who are just visiting my blog I would like to introduce myself to you.

I am a blogger born and bred in Jamaica. I am passionate about my family, my life and love. I believe that one should always try to achieve their goals and never stop until you get that.
I love the idea of being in love even though I think I have never been there. I love all things beauty and as such my blog will encompass all of this.

I do have a lot on my plate but I feel the need to take on my passion for blogging once more.

I'm sure that this can one day help someone or at least provide some entertainment for the time to go by.

Hey I may not be the best writer out there but, I am giving you the best that I have. The content may not be the same as in previous years but it shows the growth in me. I will try to have at least one post every week on set topics.

Life Update: New Job, Frustration, Relationships

Welcome back readers. I know I have been such a horrible blogger, I couldn't even remember when last I posted. But I decided I was finally going to take time out to blog.

Job changes

Let me start by just updating you on my life. I have officially started a new job and best believe me it has surely been a test. Everyday is another learning experience. Since the beginning of this job I have been through it all, even disrespect and jealousy. But, that is a whole other blogpost. One morning I was even in tears, I just did not want to go to work that day. It sounds so immature hearing it back right now. 

What keeps me sane is to look at it all as a learning experience. Best believe this job keeps me on my knees. I am always praying. 

So, if you are reading this and going through the same thing just know that everything is for a reason. Your later will be greater. Hold on and you will see what will happen. Also, never stop until improvement comes.

Relationships

I am the new face of the single club...best believe it. But with that said, everyday I learn something new about myself. Some of them good but others not so good. Surely I have learned to always focus on self improvement, self love and awareness don't wait on others to make you happy. If you do you will forever be sad. 

People always keep telling me that my standards are high*laughs*. That is surely not a bad thing for me. Never settle for foolishness because you will be the one dealing with it

Everyone I promise to make at least one blog post a week and maybe even youtube videos. Thank you to the loyal persons who have kept visiting my blog.

Also, just wondering am I the only one without resolutions this year? I don't even know if that is a good or bad thing. I am taking everyday as they come.

The Wray and Nephew Contenders

Hey everyone! I hope you are doing great because I have :)

I just have to talk about this show that has seriously been a must watch for me. It is called the Wray and Nephew Contender. It deals purely with boxing, but this year it has been past exciting. Since this season has started there was never a dull moment which was kind of shocking for me. Realistically I thought that if I just watch boxing every week eventually it would get tired. But it actually has not. They have boxers from all over the Caribbean but it takes place in Jamaica.

The quality of boxers are great! Every week has proven to be past exciting and on top of that there is great eye candy.

I'm predicting him to win this year.

VACATION, CHRISTMAS AND THE NEW YEAR!

Hey Loves! How have you beauties been?
I know I have been such a bad blogger lately...I have not made a post in about two weeks. I was super busy over Christmas with my vacation and...it's almost New Year.
Today I will be just giving  you guys and girls a little update on my vacation and what I did for the christmas.

Vacation

Well I spent a couple of days at the Holiday Inn, Montego Bay. It was one of the best experiences I have had in a while. They had a private island, an adult bar and beach, great entertainment and great drinks. Dear God, I did not even want to leave! Plus on top of that there was always great eye candy around :) Seriously of you guys are ever looking for a vacation spot you should try it. It will definitely be a great experience but, my only downfall was the fact that everything pretty much closed by 2am. Who goes to sleep that early on a vacation?! God knows I don't. But guys check out the pics from when I was there.

Christmas

Even though all of my family members were not home for Christmas it was still great. I had all the best food in the world! But the number one thing I couldn't stand about Christmas this year was that it was so downplayed. I saw less lights, trees, excitement, everything. But lets hope it will change next Christmas.

The New Year

Let the countdown begin. It's almost the NEW YEAR! But I don't know if I am as into it as I was before. I am not really interested in any resolution. I am just going to hang my friends and spend it at church :)

Some of you guys may be different from me but, no matter what you choose I hope you have fun.

Halloween is officially over and you know with halloween comes costumes!

FASHIONABLE BLACK WOMEN!

I am so tired of hearing the stereotype that black women cannot be classy or they cannot dress their body properly so, today I am going to show you some great outfits worn by black women.

UP CYCLING -PROM!

 

Guys today I am going to show you a preview of my prom dress from last year. 

Shopping was so stressful for me, I could not find a dress that I liked and on top of that everything was so expensive. I thought that I am not seriously going to spend a lot of money for something that everyone else would be wearing. So I decided to take a regular dress and make the best of it. I went to my local trimmings store sewed them unto the dress and made a matching headband.

Even though it wasn't what I had in mind in the beginning it worked out the best. I saved so much money and I got compliments all night.

Mirror Mirror On The Wall Who Is The Cutest Shoe Designer Of Them All!!

All around the world every where we go all we see is shoes. Some of them you love and others you hate with all you might. Most of the time I think people just end up falling in love with designer I don't know why, but for some reason they just seem more appealing :)
There is no other feeling like walking down the street in those brand knew pair of designer heels...it is sort of empowering. Guys don't get it twisted though I may like designer stuff but there is nothing wrong if you are not wearing designer, as my mother would say clothes doesn't make a man it is his character.
If all you have is regular stuff rock like there no tomorrow make them look expensive:)
There is nothing hotter than a person with confidence and just take pride in what you wear. I mean for me I love a well put together man I mean who doesn't.
I know I just strayed from the point so with all that said here are my 2 favorite designers of all time.


Bridget Sandals-  They are a shoe design company that was started by a Jamaican and is located in Jamaica. I have been so in love with their stuff I hope you guys love it as well.


















Now moving away from Jamaica, my other favorite designer is obviously Christian Louboutin, I mean I don't even need to explain, the one the name speaks for itself. For me they just stood out and concurred, so with that said here are my favorite shoe designs from them.
