New Beginnings

I'm a bit nervous to start blogging again...more like extremely nervous. It has been so long since my last blog post.
I just think I had lost passion for blogging and I needed to find myself before I could start again.


Looking at myself now so much has changed about me. If I can say so myself I am  full on woman!
Maturity and life has surely set it. I spend my days working and my nights I use to pursue a law
degree in Jamaica...talk about being busy.

For all who are just visiting my blog I would like to introduce myself to you.

I am a blogger born and bred in Jamaica. I am passionate about my family, my life and love. I believe that one should always try to achieve their goals and never stop until you get that.
I love the idea of being in love even though I think I have never been there. I love all things beauty and as such my blog will encompass all of this.

I do have a lot on my plate but I feel the need to take on my passion for blogging once more.

I'm sure that this can one day help someone or at least provide some entertainment for the time to go by.

Hey I may not be the best writer out there but, I am giving you the best that I have. The content may not be the same as in previous years but it shows the growth in me. I will try to have at least one post every week on set topics.

Life Update: New Job, Frustration, Relationships

Welcome back readers. I know I have been such a horrible blogger, I couldn't even remember when last I posted. But I decided I was finally going to take time out to blog.

Job changes

Let me start by just updating you on my life. I have officially started a new job and best believe me it has surely been a test. Everyday is another learning experience. Since the beginning of this job I have been through it all, even disrespect and jealousy. But, that is a whole other blogpost. One morning I was even in tears, I just did not want to go to work that day. It sounds so immature hearing it back right now. 

What keeps me sane is to look at it all as a learning experience. Best believe this job keeps me on my knees. I am always praying. 

So, if you are reading this and going through the same thing just know that everything is for a reason. Your later will be greater. Hold on and you will see what will happen. Also, never stop until improvement comes.

Relationships

I am the new face of the single club...best believe it. But with that said, everyday I learn something new about myself. Some of them good but others not so good. Surely I have learned to always focus on self improvement, self love and awareness don't wait on others to make you happy. If you do you will forever be sad. 

People always keep telling me that my standards are high*laughs*. That is surely not a bad thing for me. Never settle for foolishness because you will be the one dealing with it

Everyone I promise to make at least one blog post a week and maybe even youtube videos. Thank you to the loyal persons who have kept visiting my blog.

Happy New Year to you all. I wish you love and happiness. 

Also, just wondering am I the only one without resolutions this year? I don't even know if that is a good or bad thing. I am taking everyday as they come.

Cyberbullying- Advice and Rant

Welcome back!

I was not really planning to talk about this anytime soon. But, I just had to. It is becoming such a major problem now.
So, I am just strolling on instagram(follow me @mzpanton) looking at pictures and I am shocked at the amount of  hate and negative energy out there. As I look at a picture of some random pretty girl on the popular page, I can just check for the mean comments under her pictures. The worse part about this to me is the fact that half of the people saying hateful stuff do not even know the person personally. Why would you just write random profanity under a person's picture you don't know?

For me, the only reason I can find that people would do this is simply because they want to have that person's life. They are jealous.
Just imagine these people are commenting that a person should go kill themselves!
How does that even sound justifiable in your head. To make matters worst some people call this freedom of speech. No, this is straight cyberbullying. Many of these people would not have to courage to say the same thing to a person's actual face.

This entire cyberbullying thing just annoys the heck out of me. Thank God, I have never experienced it. I do not promise that I would be as calm.

If you are one of those people taking part in this trend please stop.

Rules of the summer!

Summer has arrived and I'm here with the rules for the summer. It is quite important to learn summer etiquette because it seems that the world really needs it.


1. Wear shorts that fit- I know the summer is hot. But if you are a medium and you are wearing extra small pants you may need to revisit your wardrobe. Frankly no one wants to see your butt cheeks so please cover them. Save that for your significant other or something.



2. Don't spend more than you can afford- This is pretty self explanatory. You don't wanna go broke trying to live this lifestyle you simply cannot afford.



3. Ensure that your random hook ups are married- I may not one to condone random hook ups, but what ever you do is your business. But this is important to note. You don't wannabe messing with someone else's husband because karma is a bitch.




4. Take care of your skin- Heat can seriously damage your skin, so it is important to take the necessary precautions to prevent sun and heat damage.



5. Don't forget that manicure and pedicure- This is especially important for females. Ugly looking fingers and toes are not cute. Deal with them as early as possible to avoid embarrassment.



6. Wear body appropriate swimwear- I am all about having confidence is self but certain things should be noted. Ensure your swimsuit is the right size for you and that it can cover you properly. You do not need to be blinding people on the beach!

CELEBRITY DRAMA A.K.A MIXUP!

Like seriously  everybody, I have been scrolling on social media and there have just been some stories that I have seen that I just had to comment on. I mean this week has just been drama filled. It is worse than an episode of bad girls club.







1. Have you seen that picture that 13 year old willow posted with that 20 year old guy? I am sure you did. Guess what child protective services are investigating her parents! I am guessing they are just ensuring that Will and Jada Smith are good parents.

Well guys I don't know about you, but if I took a picture like that when I was 13 in Jamaica my parents would never be comfortable with it. This picture is highly suggestive. I think for 13 that child is under no control...I thought she was older than I am. *laughs*



2. Ray J gives Kim-K the best wedding gift ever.

There is never a dull moment with Ray-J around...that is for sure. Well I am sure you know Kim-K is getting married soon. Being the nice person Ray J is he decides to give her a wedding gift.
Knowing Ray J it is no ordinary gift. Turns out he gives her a cheque for $47K from the proceeds from their sex tape.
Talk about trying to rain on her parade!
Is Ray J trying to rain on her parade and gain even more popularity? I think so and it is working.

3. Rob Kardashian's weight gain.
This isn't a shocker to me but hey people are excited.
So Rob gained more weight...I do not know why it is such a big deal. I mean people are being catty and just downright rude and I do not get why. Some of these people criticizing do not even have a leg to stand on because they are bigger than he is.
All I am saying is that stop being mean. You do not know what he is going through. Before you talk try to walk a mile in another persons shoes.
One thing I am glad for is that his sister Khloe came to his defense. She did not just leave her brother out in the cold.




4. Readers I am going to end on the happiest note ever! Ciara finally had her baby!

I am so happy for her. She made pregnancy look so easy. She looked fab in every picture.
Congrats to Ciara and her fiance Future.

How to deal with cheating!

Well I think the picture and the topic pretty much says it all. I will be taking on the topic of cheating today.
For most people you either know of someone who was cheated on or you were cheated on yourself. You see the emotional hurt that comes with it and how it may have even changed a person's outlook on life.

For me this topic is very simple...if you don't love a person just leave, women/men are not a buffet. You can't have a little of everything. I mean if women or men are your weakness have a open relationship.

But what really gets me is the fact that some men or women cheat with everyone who will allow them but when they get cheated on it is the biggest crime ever.

Sadly if you are a person who was cheated a decision has to be made. I'm going to try and list out all the possible options and which best could help you.

1. End the relationship and leave.
2. Instead of being exclusive just have an open relationship.
3. Work through this rough patch- This may include getting counselling and talking about what caused he/she to decide to go outside the relationship.

Everybody I know I only have three options but I could not think of anymore *laughs*

I'm going to explain them to you.
So, if the guy wants to date everyone in the world why not just have an open relationship. I mean you get to date anybody else you like, but you still get to come home to that person everyday. This decision would basically be a win win situation for everybody or most people.

If you feel like you still love this person and you want to work it out get counselling. It may take a while to gain back trust, but if you think the relationship is right do it. But don't get me wrong now, if this person's actions are making you cry everyday no matter what your heart is telling you use your brain and LEAVE.

Finally if you are upset and you can't even stand to see this persons face just leave this relationship. It makes no sense, especially if you look at this person as if you are about to slash their throat at any moment now.

I personally would have either tried to work through it if I really loved the person or just end it all. I am not one for open relationships...I mean girl "ain't nobody got time for that."

Think about your future and love yourself first.

I LUH YA PAPI!

Loves I have missed you guys :)

Let me get started with this post by saying I never knew Jennifer Lopez still made music videos or just music in general. Anyway I saw it a new video from her and out of curiosity I decided to watch it.

For me this story line was a little too youthful for her age, I mean isn't she like in her 40's. The song was not really that appealing to me, but maybe that is because of the fact that I am overly critical when it comes to music. 

But on a lighter note her body looks great for her age and French Montana killed his verse in the song. For me Montana pretty much brought back the song from never never land in my head, plus the video was high quality.

This song eventually grew on me though.

But don't take my word for it...check it out for yourself.

HOW TO SURVIVE THE SINGLE LIFE!

Hey everyone and to all my lovies from across the world welcome. Today, I am going to come to you with advice on how to survive the single life.

Am I the only one who realizes that everyone is either dating or engaged! It is almost like you are the odd one out if you are single.

So today I am going to give you all tips and some advice on how to survive these trying times. *giggles*

1. Do not spend your days listening to love songs. This is just going to enhance the lonely feeling you are already having and leading you sort of think that if you are single you are not truly living. If you get what I mean.

2. Do not entertain your friends when they are talking about their happyy little relationships. I kow this may sound a little harsh but, hearing of all the happiness in other's relationships will not help you. This will just make you even lonelier.

3. Focus more on yourself instead of spending your days thinking about potential relationships.

Deal with any emotional hurt you gained from previous relationships and think of ways to improve yourself and your life.

4. Do not go back to your ex.

There was a reason you let him or her, do not go back to that bad relationship! You may be feeling a little low in your spirit for now but that does not mean you should go back to crap.

5. Do not lower your standards. If you do, there is a good chance you may end up in a relationship you may regret. Always keep your standards high no matter what and if these guys or girls does not make the cut that means he or she was not right for you.


6. Do not be pressured into a relationship. No matter if your family or friends are almost forcing you to start dating do not do it unless you want to. This is the best time to 'find your back bone and gain your voice'. If you do not want to start dating do not do it!

I hope this helped someone out there and do not forget that you do not need a man or woman to complete you.

VACATION, CHRISTMAS AND THE NEW YEAR!

Hey Loves! How have you beauties been?
I know I have been such a bad blogger lately...I have not made a post in about two weeks. I was super busy over Christmas with my vacation and...it's almost New Year.
Today I will be just giving  you guys and girls a little update on my vacation and what I did for the christmas.

Vacation

Well I spent a couple of days at the Holiday Inn, Montego Bay. It was one of the best experiences I have had in a while. They had a private island, an adult bar and beach, great entertainment and great drinks. Dear God, I did not even want to leave! Plus on top of that there was always great eye candy around :) Seriously of you guys are ever looking for a vacation spot you should try it. It will definitely be a great experience but, my only downfall was the fact that everything pretty much closed by 2am. Who goes to sleep that early on a vacation?! God knows I don't. But guys check out the pics from when I was there.

Christmas

Even though all of my family members were not home for Christmas it was still great. I had all the best food in the world! But the number one thing I couldn't stand about Christmas this year was that it was so downplayed. I saw less lights, trees, excitement, everything. But lets hope it will change next Christmas.

The New Year

Let the countdown begin. It's almost the NEW YEAR! But I don't know if I am as into it as I was before. I am not really interested in any resolution. I am just going to hang my friends and spend it at church :)

Some of you guys may be different from me but, no matter what you choose I hope you have fun.

WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS!

It's that time of the year again:) It"s Christmas!!

Time to set up the Christmas lights, turn on the oven and get some cooking done. 

Don't know what to do this Christmas here is some advice on having a great Christmas. 

1. Be early for all family events.

2. Dress age appropriately for all events. Do not walk around with you boobs hanging out and butt falling out of our dress to your office's Christmas party.

3. There is no such thing as too much food. Growing up in Jamaica Christmas has always had an abundance of food: Ham, bread pudding and everything else Caribbean. This being said I am not sure if this would be the best time to start dieting. You may end up gaining more weight than anything else.

4. If you don't know the perfect gift to buy please ASK. The thing I can't stand the most around the holidays is a person buying some tacky gift and then saying I thought of you when I was buying it. That just makes it seem like I have some terrible style or something. So please people if you don't know just ask.

5. Christmas decorations are a must, so before you go around inviting visitors ensure that your house is fully decked out for the season.

6. Too much alcohol is never your friend. Please do not walk around for most of he Christmas season drunk because trust me that is not cute.

7. Do not hook up with random people because you're lonely. Christmas is usually a time where you see a lot of persons getting married or hooking up. If you're single like I am please do not fall prey to emotions. You do not want to be that girl to hook up that one time and have the horrible consequences follow you forever.

8. Please remember that everything done in the holidays will follow you through to the new year. God may forgive but people may not so easily.

FASHIONISTA IN THE STREET BUT A TITAN IN THE BOARDROOM!

I cannot stress this topic enough. It is very important to look great when doing whatever you're doing but, if the only thing you have going for you is your looks you may have a major problem. Don't just be one of that girls waiting for someone to buy her those clothes and to "maintain" her lifestyle. It is always great to have someone to take care of you but, always make sure that you can take care of yourself if he leaves.

The number one stereotype I cannot stand held by many business persons is that once a woman is beautiful and well dressed she will not be a good business woman. People generally just think that once you look that great, you should just be some trophy wife who has no place thinking about business. This being said, women you have to work harder to be respected, some of you need to stop acting like you are brain dead! Act like you have some common sense in a boardroom, always be prepared and for God sakes don't sleep your way to the top...unless the boss is you husband *laughs*

CRAZY GOOD UP AND COMING TALENTS!

GOOD MORNING MY BEAUTIES :)
I don't know if you have been keeping up with the Jamaican music scene later, I know I was not really before until I came across these two talents.
One of them you may already know, her name is Samantha J. She is a sixteen year old artist which you may know for her son "tight up skirt."

This was made a remix for Jamaican artist Red Rat's song "tight up skirt" made in the 1990's.

I am not even going to joke she is a great artist especially, just being 16. But, would I want to be the parent of 16 year old  singing that she is the girl in the tight up skirt...probably not. I am going to give her props where they are due she is a great artist and I wish her best of luck.

Our other talent is a Jamaican producer from CRF BEATZ known as Rovaunie. He is a gospel producer but, I do think he has places to go. He provides a new and edgy look to the Jamaican gospel scene.

KIM K MAKING A COME BACK!

OMG have you guys seen Kim K lately. I just love her new body, the change looks wonderful. When she was pregnant with North she didn't look that great but, that was understandable...I mean she was pregnant! I didn't understand why people were making fun of her, I mean get a grip. I still love her style and will forever love her style.
